"Exposing Joe is about the trials and tribulations of a young man who is facing good and evil. The lead character, Joe, is surrounded by his cohorts Dell and Cliff, and his gambling addicted uncle, Mickey. Joe, a virtuoso billiard player, uses his billiard skills to help pay off his uncle Mickey's debt. Joe picks up his uncle's gambling addiction, but is saved from the harsh surroundings by his girlfriend Ariel." The film was directed by Alex Kus and produced by Ben Bock and Stephen Taylor - Wehr who also edited the film. "In cooperation with the community, WDHS did portions of the filming on location. The pool hall scenes were filmed at the Tenny Street Roadhouse, 22361 West Village Dr. The bank heist scenes were filmed at the DSCU Bank 6246 Chase Rd. WDHS instructor Kurt Doelle wrote the script that is based upon the real life of Joseph Wakefield, a student in several of Doelle's classes."
