Science and Technology

At WDHS video, we're fond of the cutting edge, not just in video, but in the field of science as well. Students that are involved in the program are bright individuals that enjoy learning.  We encourage science fair projects and any other type of school or personal project. The instructors are willing to help at any time. (Photo: 2003's Anti-gravity)

Directed Studies -
Student Films

Every year for the past eight years or so, a group of students from WDHS (currently in the Advanced Film class, formerly Directed Study) have gotten together to work on one project for the entire year. This year's student film is called "So Help Me, Hannah." Last year's full feature film "Got Lyle" was a great success debuting at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn!  The list of previous student films include:  the Retro 1950's Sci-fi classic: "Gork Invades Earth" (2006), "Exposing Joe" (2005), "The Goals to Life" (2004), "Echoes" (2004), "Click" (2003), "Suburban Choices" (2002), " Minor Sins", and " Red River Crossing".
